A trade show job led her to champagne professionally. The more she learned about the traditional product and its characteristics, the more her enthusiasm for champagne grew. As a career changer, the former artist manager founded en vie d'éphémère as an individual and sustainable response to well-known global brands. Today she is a wine culture expert for champagne.
If someone had told me years ago that I would one day run my own small business and be the owner of a champagne brand, I probably would have laughed out loud.
I didn't have much to do with champagne in the past - too many clichés that I couldn't identify with. Most of the contact points came from my former job as an artist manager, which brought me to champagne-loving after-show parties of TV shows and events.
Through a job at a trade fair, I had my first professional dealings with champagne and was quickly enthralled by the production, the special features and the history surrounding the traditional product.
After acquiring even more knowledge and taking a closer look at the market, a seemingly absurd idea came to me one evening:
Good question. So ... quit the job of several years in the media industry to throw me as an optimistic lone wolf in uncharted waters and full of zest for action to familiarize myself with topics completely foreign to me.
Today I am a certified wine culture expert for champagne and happy about the many connoisseurs and champagne refusers who were already enthusiastic about the quite quaffable first variety "cuvée début". Join the club.😉 The glass is always half full!
